I have been a patient of Dr. Downs for many years. He listens and takes my concerns under consideration when making suggestions for my treatment. He is always responsive and prompt during any neurologic problems I might have in between appointments. Overall a very honest and concerned physician.
I am a recent patient of Doctor Downs and have been very pleased with the information and care she has provided. Doctor Downs is compassionate and understanding in the neurological field as we all know is not necessarily a perfected science. Despite how common my disease is, and major advances in diagnosis and treatment, epilepsy is among the least understood of major chronic medical conditions; I am very pleased to have Mary Downs as my Doctor and feel very fortunate to be under her care. The office staff is very nice and accommodating as well. A huge relief has been lifted off my shoulders being under her care.
Dr. Wayne Downs is a godsend. After two other doctors failed to be able to get my seizures under control he was able to. He is very friendly and will offer suggestions. Would recommend him time and time again.

I have been going to Dr. Mary Downs for about 10 yrs. Her bedside manner in the beginning is lacking but after a couple of visits she was fine. I had seen several other neuro in town but she turned out to be the best of the 4 I saw. I have MS, she has stayed on top of the newest meds and we found my MIRACLE med 5 yrs ago, still taking it, still walking and doing much better than 6 yrs ago. She helped get me out of the Wheelchair and on the DANCE floor again!!
Dr. Downs does a fine job. Certainly medicine can often be as much art as science. I have an undiagnosed challenge that has to do with migraine and he was familiar with ideas, theories and treatments other doctors were using successfully and made recommendations accordingly. For the most part, my treatment has worked for me and I’m grateful for it.
Dr. Downs is an excellent provider and I would recommend him to my family and friends in a heartbeat! He was able to figure out my medical diagnosis and I believe that he saved my life from further problems. He was very thorough and an overall excellent healthcare provider. Thank you Dr. Downs!
